Coming to Wo’s aid are Cat (Roy Cheung) and Tai (Francis Ng), two other friends of the group. A TV journalist and her crew are in Hong Kong to do a report on radio shows. They choose to follow Horror Hotline, a radio show who focuses on supernatural things that happen to ordinary people. One night, while the crew was interviewing and filming the radio show, a man called to recount a story that happened during his childhood. The strange story happened to him and to his six other friends when they were in elementary school. One day, while playing around the school, they found a big head monster baby in a small abandoned warehouse. But strangely, right after the call of this man, the radio show began to receive other calls from unknown people who also saw or heard a story about a big head monster. Ben, the producer of the show and Mavis the TV reporter decide to investigate more on this strange story. But every time they begin to be closer to discovering the true, strange deaths and unnatural events begin to occur.

Slow Fade is one man's journey to his personal hell and back again. In a nameless city and an unspecified time, Fin (Ken Wong) hits an emotional low when his wife is killed in a car accident. He goes on a binge of self-destruction with heroin. He is salvaged by a young prostitute, Kim (Josie Ho), whom he meets at the detoxification clinic. Through Kim's eyes, we see Fin's efforts to leave the underworld for the sake of his wife before she died. His best friend Alex (Jimmy Wong), who got him into the crime circuit in the first place, won't let him go. Fin tries to find redemption by helping Kim leave his boss, Chan (Roy Cheung), which sets off a series of betrayals and double crosses that end tragically.
