Little Cabbage, a shy and delicate maiden, appears in the martial court suspected of murdering her husband. Ng, her former master is also suspected of being involved in the murder, and apparently they were secret lovers. During the Ching Dynasty, the authorities were very nasty and didn’t want to waste time in trial so they used a lot of imaginative and violent ways to make the suspect confess. Little Cabbage and Ng will be tortured until they admit that they killed Little Cabbage’s husband. However, despite the torture, both of them maintain their claim that they never did it and that they are being framed. If they are telling the truth, then who is the real killer?
